Laura Syed is the Director of Operations for SAB Capital. Her operations management expertise combined with solid business acumen allows her to view a business with a wide lens and then narrow down to connect the dots, understand complex issues, take action, think outside the box, and drive results.
A graduate of the University of Texas-Pan American, Laura holds a BS in Business Management. Prior to joining the SAB Capital team, Laura worked for Enterprise Holdings. She launched a new division within the company and set the firm up to realize the number one net profits across the country successfully. She also worked at Ecoservice, where she led efforts to stabilize the new market, worked collaboratively with the executive team to create a team culture, and liaised with the firm’s top client, BMW. As the Chief of Staff for Million Dollar Women, Laura built a strong team, streamlined their daily operations, and spearheaded new initiatives to help the company realize strong profits. Her secrets to productivity are prioritizing, time management, and clear communication.
Laura’s passion for what comes with growing a company, the organized chaos, multitasking, expansion year after year, and ambitious goals, are a few of her favorite aspects of her work at SAB Capital. With a love of traveling, if Laura isn’t in the office, she’d love to be exploring a new city and trying out local food with her husband, Parv, and their son Zayan.
