Miguel Jauregui is based in Los Angeles and serves as the Director of Capital Markets, leading the net lease financing team of SAB Capital.
Miguel was born in Peru and grew up in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of California State University-Northridge, where he majored in Investments and Real Estate. He is also a graduate of the University of Rochester, Simon School of Business, where he earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
Miguel has over ten years of real estate experience, developing his career from an analyst to his current role leading the capital markets team. Before joining SAB Capital, Miguel worked as a CRE Relationship Manager for Wells Fargo, a Director of Investment Sales for Besen Partners, and was the NYC Co-Lead for Greysteel. In these roles, Miguel worked in multiple areas of the industry where he monitored over $170 million of real estate assets, brokered over $200 million of deals throughout New York City, and created relationships with capital market partners to support and educate his investor clients properly.
Miguel enjoys the Capital Markets side of the business due to the excitement of the constantly evolving financial markets and high transaction volume, which pose new challenges in a rapidly changing environment every day. Miguel enjoys watching a deal come together and playing an instrumental part of the team that gets to the closing table.
A productive day for Miguel involves creating to-do lists, monitoring his calendar, catching up on the lending environment with capital partners, and being incredibly organized. If he’s not in the office or working from home, Miguel is busy spending time with his wife and two kids, enjoying a nice meal or spending time in the sun, and doing whatever kids love to do.
